ACTS – laboratory for performance practices is a partnership between the artists Fernanda Branco, Luanda Carneiro Jacoel & Deise Nunes.
In 2012 ACTS establishes an ongoing program for research and practice in the performance field. Throughout laboratories, international workshops, room for improvisation and work presentations where professional artists are offered training and artistic growth focus on the process of creation.
Opening space for a dialog between theory and practice in experimental art ACTS foments professional development, disseminates reflection and generates new audiences outside of mainstream productions, where cross-genre performances such as theater, dance and performance has a common sphere to interact.
Without borders ACTS is an international platform, promoting visibility and exchange between artists in Norway and abroad. Using new technologies a worldwide virtual network is formed for artistic interactions.
